A webinar is as an interactive lecture. You have a lecturer that explains what he is doing and simultaneously you can see his screen.
After few testers had already the possibility to enjoy our webinars, we offer them for the public now.
Webinars are offered in German and English. They have a maximum of 20 participants per session. You only need a PC with internet connection and a Dimdim (Dimdim Homepage) account. Currently there are only beginner and advanced webinars.
MoWeS Portable III Ultra Webinar
- Introduction to MoWeS Portable III Ultra
- Presentation of the programm-internal improvements and functions
- Introduction in the different packages (Perl, Python, Tomcat, Ruby on Rails etc.)
- Duration: 30 minutes seminar + min. 60 minutes questions and answers
- You will receive a MoWeS Portable III Ultra package beforehand
- As this webinar consists mainly of an open part please send in questions beforehand per email

Beginner Webinar
- Download and "installation" of MoWeS
- How to fix common problems
- How to extend MoWeS with new packages
- How to change Apache and MySQL ports and how to secure MySQL
- How to configure the webserver for remote access
- Duration: 60 minutes presentation + min. 30 minutes of open questions and discussion
- Max. participants: 15
- Price per participant: 15 €
Advanced Webinar
- How to activate Apache and PHP extensions
- How to upgrade existing MoWeS packages
- How to create MoWeS packages
- How to move a MoWeS package to a remote webserver
- Length: 90 minutes presentation + min. 30 minutes of open questions and discussion
- Max. participants: 15
- Price per participant: 20 €
